Edward Adair
BIO
Eddie is a high energy, hands-on and results-driven 23 year hospitality leader who thrives in challenging environments and has a vision which inspires associates toward a customer-centric approach. He has extensive operational background with Marriott International in both select- and full-service Marriott brands – from opening the Santiago Marriott in Santiago, Chile to leading four, large full-service Marriott hotels from GSS “red zone” status into the “green zone” while maximizing top-line sales and bottom-line profit.
Eddie is fluent in Spanish and, in addition to being a turn-around specialist, has a history of ensuring guest satisfaction by consistently delivering on both product quality and service to achieve a hotel’s financial objectives. His wheelhouse includes Revenue Growth / Enhancement, Sales & Marketing, Luxury & Resort Management, Food & Beverage, Pre-Opening / Opening, Complex Banquet & Conference Facilities, Demand Generation and Cost Efficiencies.
Eddie has received numerous Marriott awards throughout his career and has held dozens of business, community and non-profit board positions, including President of the Walnut Creek, CA Convention & Visitors Bureau for six years.
Eddie is a graduate of the University of Texas and is married with two college-aged sons. When not working, he enjoys snow skiing and mountain biking.

Guy Reinbold
BIO
Guy is a proven industry leader in hospitality Food and Beverage Operations with over 40 years of experience. He is an expert at maintaining cost controls and determining optimal coverage to meet business needs without sacrificing quality and creating relevant concepts based on location. Guy is focused on increasing revenue and profitability and talented at building relationships with community, ownership and staff.
Most recently, Guy served for 15 years as Vice President of Food & Beverage Owner Franchise for Marriott International. Prior to that he was Corporate Chef for Marriott International.
Guy is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. After graduation he served for 18 years as Executive Chef/Corporate Chef of Renaissance Hotels & Resorts.

Herman Turk
BIO
Herman’s nearly 40-year career in the hotel/tourism industry began as a Manager Trainee and progressed to the position of Chief Operating Officer. His primary focus is in operations but also includes expertise in sales, revenue management, accounting, engineering and human resources.
His breadth of experience is comprised of branded as well as independent hotels, resorts and conference centers. These hotels range from full service to select service to extended stay and include brands within the Marriott, Hilton and IHG families of hotels as well as independent properties like Lansdowne Conference Resort and the Hotel Roanoke.
Herman has held leadership positions at a variety of top-notch hospitality organizations including Carter Associates, Benchmark Hospitality, Interstate Hotels, Shaner Hotel Group, Windsor Capital Group and Hulsing Hotels.
The scope of Herman’s knowledge includes pre-opening and opening of new hotels, facilitating operating and capital budgets and property renovations, hotel rebranding, acquisitions, repositioning, F&B concepts, and of course, day to day operations. Additionally, he has managed both union as well as non-union hotels, has experience in owned and managed hotels as well as oversight responsibility of third party management contracts with equity owners such as RLJ, Credit Suisse, DLJ and WPM.
Herman’s leadership tenets include the following:
• Begin with the end in mind; understanding the goals and objectives while describing what success looks like.
• Based on the owner’s goals, set the parameters to create balance with the needs of the owner, hotel associates and hotel guests. In an ideal situation, his philosophy is to take excellent care of the hotel associates so that they can provide excellent service to every guest which will keep the guests coming back again and again, which will thus take care of the owner.
• Having a collaborative approach to management creates a synergy that emphasizes the talents of the collective team to maximize revenues, profits, market share, guest and employee satisfaction and community involvement.
• Honesty and integrity are critical in establishing trust and sustaining relationships with every owner, brand leader, co-worker and community leader. Mutual trust and respect are “ground zero” in every relationship, every day.
These basic tenets are applicable in virtually every situation whether managing a single hotel, working with General Managers in multi-property situations or representing corporate or ownership groups.
Applying these leadership principals, coupled with a wealth of experiences, Herman and his teams have been the recipient of numerous brand and company awards and recognitions. He looks forward to adding more success stories to his career in the future.
